HELLO AGAIN,
I have good news about my GAF projector. (see earlier message)
I had to put a couple of tiny o-rings on one thingy to help all the weels inside keep turning and also adjusted the gate (i think thats what it is) so that the film was pushed right up to sprockets that drive the film through the thing. HIGH TECH!!!!
Boy was i happy to finally see my first couple of 3 min reels on the screen. Kodachrome Rocks!!!! the only thing is, it takes about three weeks or so. It goes all the way to switzerland and back.
Well worth the wait. I am having a ball with this stuff. the noisy clicking and squeeking is all part of the experience!!!
Thanks Cororburst 330 and c_7 for your help!!!
This is a most excellent Forum!!!!

Hey good to hear it; cool you got it to work yourself too! When i got my first Bell and Howell projector from eBay last summer, the guy packed it so bad i had to put it all back together again. We super 8 enthusiast are misunderstood and often abused by eBayers I tell ya! Good Luck, Chris
